Re: ******* hell Jay I wouldn't call you a lovely person. But I wouldn't want you giving me an appraisal, or a team talk. No offence.
Re: ******* hell Jay Next time I'll write "Jim O'Brien is brill" so as not to confuse you. No offence.
Bang on, if anyone pinned responsibility on JoB it was Flicitcroft. Plenty candidates ahead of O'Brien for getting subbed on Saturday.
The fact that he pushed Dawson to the right of the diamond despite having Polish/Mellis & Paddy on was the final nail in the coffin for me. Lost it. Bring back Keith.
I know I've nailed my colours to the mast with Dawson, but he set off like he couldn't give a toss on Saturday (not on his own granted) - early doors we got a throw in down the right side, Wiseman went to take a quick one to put us on the front foot and Dawson turned away - Wiseman was set to throw it to him. Dunno if he was knackered or what, but for a professional imho it was a disgrace. Anyway, with the exception of Wiseman, Crainie , M'Voto and Pedersen, imho the outfield starters on Saturday were showing what they think of the manager. ie not a lot.
Re: ******* hell Jay That's great. Preferably without the endless pointless pontificating. I'm not confused. I doubt Jim O Brien is.. he knows he f'ckd up...he might be a bit baffled by someone trying to cheer him up by drawing attention to his one mistake in a match of a thousand mistakes. As you correctly point out he was distraught and probably wanted the ground to swallow him up. He probably wants to forget it. By the way.... my first reply to you was actually meant tongue in cheek ... I.e. "you're not helping." I'll steer clear of jokes.
Re: ******* hell Jay Yeah, you've been jovial and jokey throughout this business of you telling me what I said. The above post is another example of that.
