Jack should have called. We avoided known s hite pubs and was good laugh just yards away in the bulls head that we suggested. Fine before and after

It was fine in Roebuck if police had let fans filter up as and when they wanted instead of penning everyone in together and marching a crowd of fans past large groups of home fans that hadn't been moved on....

It's not limited to stoke mate. Being in the force is a green light to do what the **** you want

They seem to have the worst coppers in my experience and I've done plenty of grounds -- but I'm sure there's just as bad in all forces

I've only ever been a victim of crime, and every time I've been made to feel like a criminal. The 'force' has never been a more appropriate word

I've been to hundreds of away games and can count on one hand the number of times there has been trouble, fortunately.

Police overzealousness is a bigger problem though, I've been in a few situations where the police seem to be intentionally winding a group of fans up who haven't done anything wrong which then forces a reaction which the police use to then justify their behaviour. I know a few coppers and have a general respect for the police, but their procedures in how they deal with football fans surely has to be reviewed, it's not the 1980s anymore and these days a group of football fans are generally sensible enough to police themselves.

I read that earlier and thought the same.... If criminal damage is getting your face smashed through a car windscreen by two coppers then we really are knackered. I hope them two coppers are being investigated for their actions but I can't see it he was only a football fan after all!!!!
