The fact is that when People come to live in a country they bring their culture with them, and if anything they get more protective of the place they didnt want to live. The Irish and the Scots do that alot.

Of course there is nothing wrong with that but it means they are all going to defend their culture. it takes a long time for people to forget things, as is proved everytime we play Nottingham Forest

 

So how about the time I was in the supermarket and a kid was swinging a balloon about and in doing so an Asian woman had to brush the balloon out of the way in order to get past, the kid said "that women just pushed past me", to which the boy's mother said "well, she's a Paki, they are just ignorant"
I was in ear shot and I took offence at that statement and just said "and that wasn't at all an ignorant statement"
