He's agreed a permanent contract to join us from January is how I read that.

I'm sure the club will reveal his contract length at some point - Not really sure why they need to be broadcasting it on January 1st.

Confirmation that the deal went through as expected and how long the contract is for. Sunderland fans had their minds put at ease that nothing has gone wrong. We have previous with transfers like the Morsy deal we thought was a cert, so we are well in our right to be wanting it to all be official. If u thought the worse I'd think he had caught the eye of bigger clubs who have told Fulham if they can find a way out of selling him to us, they will pay them more. Honestly don't see what the hold up is for. Maybe Radio Sheffield will ask tomorrow at the press conference.

 

I wondered that too. He could certainly do better than us and earn more money into the bargain. This might be all speculation with nothing to worry about but until it’s done it’s not done!

That's true too we've previous on multiple occasions so as fans we should know by now nothing is done until confirmed and in the case of McBurnie even then.
