    Woodraw was also a great mentor with the young uns.
    As well as being a top striker .
    Till all the enthusiasm was sacked out of him like many Barnsley players.

    He was of course at his best when playing alongside Kieffer Moore in League 1. But he was still doing well at the top of the diamond under Struber, and scoring goals.

    For some reason, he came back from lockdown and snatched at most chances he had from open play. He was the central striker under Val, until Dike signed. Played an important part in leading our press but whenever the ball went wide, he would never get hiimself into a position where he could score. Unlike Dike who scored 7 or 8 in the second half of that season by getting into the middle when the ball was about to be crossed in.

    totally agree with your point but as a matter of interest, is Luton regarded as the Big Smoke?
    I know the third London Airport is there but I always thought of Luton as a working class town outside of the affluent big city.
