Agree in part , they thought Woodrow and Moore would last most games with Odebayejo and a n other filling in the odd times imo.
However I’m gonna say they’re learning and lessons learned will be stowed .

    You need to respond.

Simple abuse ought not to be enough.

Indeed posting simple abuse ought to result in a ban, or your post being removed, or both.

Why does site admin not remove such posts?

    They ought to.

Woodrow is abit like winnall a great poacher/finisher he isn't a lone striker if he gets the chances he will score.

The point is he's making and getting opportunities. And very soon they'll go in. It's a fortnight since he last scored so no panic yet from me!

Apologies if my reply offended you it wasn't intended to and my choice of word in calling you a knob was ill founded. What I meant was that I thought your opinion was totally wrong but hey ho, that's just how you see things. My thoughts of Woodrow are that he is a very clever footballer being asked to perform a role he isn't particularly comfortable with but is trying his socks off for the team. If Moore hadn't been injured this post would probably have not been posted. Sorry again my fellow fan.

It's a mere twenty two days ago since we were purring over a 3-0 away win against
Southend United with ten men after Jacob Brown was dismissed. In that game, Cauley played
well and stuck his chance away with aplomb after a good through ball from Mike Bahre..
As others have said, Cauleys not a natural predator in front of goal and he thrives on service
with a ball to feet, with space between him, opposition defenders and the goalkeeper. To reiterate,
you can only play as well as the opposition will allow you to. Yesterday as the home side fighting
for their lives, as expected Walsall had a big say in the game, but luckily Brown put away the only clear
cut chance he probably had to win the game. They can say what they like on Quest about their " goal"
being legit, or the one that Williams cleared being over the line, or that Jacob handled the ball before shooting.
I've just looked in the Sunday Mirror. It says Walsall 0 Barnsley 1 and we're second in the league with
Portsmouth four points in arrears and Sunderland five. That will do for me.!

I think Woodrow is exactly what we need in our preferred team set up. Without a Keiffer-like foil I do think he is less effective. I would like to see big Vic given a chance in the 'foil' role. However, we are at the do or die stage of the season now and I can see why DS will be hesitant to try experimentation with a player that doesn't appear to have taken his chances to date.
I think our run in success is going to hinge on DS's tactical in game changes - go with plan A but if it's not working, the timing and permutations of changes available from the bench will be critical. We are lacking up front at the moment, be it system or personnel, DS will be thinking hard on options for Coventry.

He wouldn't be isolated if he actually stuck to playing as a number 9. He drifts all over the place and as a result crosses in to the box become pointless. Far too many times yesterday the cross was on but we maybe had a winger at the far post and possible a midfielder arriving late, but nobody occupying the centre backs.

That's not a dig, but an observation of why the goals have dried up. Pompey, Donny and yesterday he came out of position too often.

To call the lad not good enough is a massive insult to him in my eyes. If you actually had an ounce of a footballing brain you’d see his movement and awareness/intelligence is way too good for league 1 and if you checked is goals per game ratio, it’s actually one of the best in the league.

Before you make a knee jerk reaction and spout off, have some facts to back it up.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but be aware of a backlash if it’s not justified

Get behind the lads for gods sake, they’re doing an amazing job

Didn't Stendel give Victor a shot up top with Woodrow only last week at Donny??

It didn't work very well, in my opinion because Victor isn't ready to play at this level.

11 in 24 and now shouldering the burden on his own up top.
And he's supposed to be not good enough.
    Jesus.
