Leave the EU and bring in a strict immigration policy (although it's a bit late now).

Basically be the Western version of Japan, a rich, successful, independent island nation with strict immigration policy and a unique character, which is what we used to be until the left took over after WW2.

I don't think there's any doubt that's the direction the EU is moving in and they'll do it either with us or without, I'd rather it be without.

I've heard some conspiracy theories in my time but that's a good one. I imagine you in a rocking chair dressed in an oatmeal cardigan eating a lump of cheese surrounded by cats as you type. The EU, I'm no great proponent myself, has given most UK workers more rights than they've ever had or our politicians would ever have given them. From Working Time Directives to Maternity rights through to Health and Safety legislation.

Is that the same Japan with a huge national debt and a dramatically collapsing birth rate?

    Sounds ace.

Unlike the party leader who wants out of Europe but still wants to be in his own European gravy train. Self serving Thatcherite gobshite. I'd love to smack him, he's worse than Camoron.

The same Japan with a growth rate of 5.9%.

Like we don't have a huge national debt as well.

The birth rate is falling because they have those strict immigration policies I was talking about.

    It's a terrible idea.

Guess you won't be supporting England at the World Cup then?

That's his job though, he used to be a stockbroker but took a big pay cut to go into politics to try and save us from the EU, putting the country first unlike Labour who put their party first and opened up the borders to get more Labour voters.

Putting the country first what a bag of ***** feathering his own next from an organisation without doing any work and claiming to hate it. Immoral Thatcherite **** with no integrity.

Would it really be better for someone working in McDonald's to pay the same rate of tax as Wayne Rooney and for workers to have the little protections they have ripped away to make the rich richer. Still at least the circle line would be a circle again.

That's up to you but your reasons are very silly and a little bigoted which is slightly ironic don't you think?

The Sun is part of the establishment too, they just support who their proprietor supports which at the moment is the Conservatives.

That said, Farage should differentiate between Romanians and Roma gypsies who don't just come from Romania, the ones in Sheffield and Rotherham in their thousands come from Slovakia for example, and I certainly wouldn't like to live next door to most of them, although there's a few people on here who I would like them to live next to.

Feathering his own nest by taking a massive pay cut?

You're missing the point anyway, I'd vote for a socialist party if they'd take us out of the EU, which used to be the Labour position until they sold out.

You're right wing and you criticise people who sell out? Now that's irony!

Nice to know that you don't really hold any firm beliefs and don't really care about the effect Farage's policies will have on working folks. We won't be in Europe but you won't have a minimum wage anymore, you won't have maternity and paternity rights anymore, you will be paying the same rate of tax as me and my millionaire mates. But it's a big bet at least we have alienated our biggest trading bloc, so all that's alright.

I am lukewarm on Europe myself but all independent economic reports suggest it would be economically devastating in the medium term and that we profit from our membership of the EU. So unless their are proven financial reasons it's cutting your nose off to spite your face.

And UKIPs other policies border on the clinically insane. Though at least they are prioritising the livery of train companies thank god they are taking on the things that matter.

In terms of feathering his own best its about principles. Given that he is a multi millionaire with plenty of ongoing investments it is dishonest and hypocritical to take the money. No more no less.
