A blooming 5 today after a 2 Yesterday. There is a great hint I thought of for todays word but best not.
Today’s is awful. I had four letters after two guesses and then had to completely guess words I didn’t know were words to get it right in 5. 99 not out…
I was a 6 as well - had several not very good ideas for the last letter but fortunately could get 4 of them into a new word which gave me the last Not very impressed with todays to be honest
I very rarely try that, and I probably should. I've been luck so far guessing at a letter with a couple of tries to go rather than trying to use guess 5 to identify which of those letters it is...
Big day tomorrow then fingers crossed - now on 115 but pressure is off for me for another month or so - if I get close to 150 I might start to worry again
I had a fail today. 3 letters in place early doors but just too many options. Only 2nd fail in 123 attempts so not too shabby.
Wordle 320 X/6 My first fail today out of 90 odd attempts. I took the same approach as Farnham except the correct word was not one of the 3 I had in mind when I was fishing on my 5th guess
To be fair I think its a poor word I wasnt every happy with any of the 4 I could think of for my 5th guess buy managed to get 3 of the letters into one word -had that not given me the letter I would have had to go with the remaining option and hope it was a word
Congratulations are you declaring now or going on for the 150? Impressed that you got a hole in 1 - Ive a few twos but never been that lucky with the first guess At least you had a proper word to bring up the ton on (Regulation 4 for me today)
Thank you, I will continue to play and whinge about stupid words, but probably not bother sharing progress regularly until I get to 150. Unless it’s another one. Can’t remember what the one hit word was now, might have been “their” as I tend to pick words with two or three vowels as a first guess.
