I almost convinced myself yesterday that I'd like to be able to go back and do all the ones I've missed, but then I came to the same conclusion as you. I've enough technological vices without another one.
Got it in two today, but more luck than judgement. one letter in the wrong place first guess, all correct second guess.
Took 3 today, 4 right 2nd guess so unlucky not to get in 2, but also lucky to get in 3 as there were several alternatives
Be interested to know how many of you start with the same word each day? It's my tactic and I'm sticking to it.
Nope I like to mix it up and start with different words - sometimes ones I've used before like 'tines', but generally a word that has 2 vowels and 3 common consonants, such as feint, locus, round etc. Richard Osman gave some tips on radio 2 about it https://metro.co.uk/2022/01/22/rich...ds-of-getting-it-right-in-one-guess-15965011/ Apparently there are only 2500 words it could be, but 10000 valid words that are accepted as tries
I tend to use "arise" as my first word. My friend swears by "penis" but I think that's more a life choice than a strategy.

Wordle 227 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜ I start with the same word each day, using 2 vowels. Seems to be working so far. Until it doesn't!
got a bit of luck today and so a nice birdie 3 Bit concerned to see that the New York Times has just bought Wordle. Thats unlikely to end well and despite them promising "initially" to keep it outside their paywall
