    I wish it was a straight forward knockout for 16 teams … there would be extra days available for abandoned games to be played etc.

    I’d be able to understand it then

    from what i can gather, beat NZ & SL (a must win) and hope the aussies don't batter afghanistan and ireland to improve their nrr too much
    so they will probably throw caution to the wind, but i back us to win any game, we'd have beaten ireland but for the rain

    another subject is, since when did australia have a rain season like being said in the media? **** happens

    He didn’t appear to be scoring quickly but obviously runs were slow from the other end.

    only seen highlights today and NZ didn't seem at the races batting wise less a lucky phillips so they are beatable, their bowling/fielding however is outstanding as ever
    should be a great game tues after hopefully a rainy night in melbourne monday

    Sri Lanka were awful in every department from when I switched on after 7 overs. Phillips got a tonne but the drops were so poor and the bowling was dreadful. They’re a very good side as ever but still very beatable.
