For all his talent he really should have won a few more along the way. I think the mental challenge of the world's is why he hasn't. He has looked so focused this tournament.
Quality for 46 oldest world champ ever. 7 wc and 21 majors. Truely amazing, he is unreal can play both hands to world class level, that takes some doing.
https://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/world-snooker-championship-2022.313352/page-4#post-2944809 At least my tip came up pardon the pun. He should have reached ten world titles by now with his talent. It's still possible but going to be hard. Incredible to win so many in a much tougher era than Hendry had to face.
Oh well Selby and Robertson were as poor as I thought they would be. Trump did brilliantly. Young lads aren't as scared playing Ronnie but the problem was these were the ages of his opponents to win it...... David Gilbert 40 Mark Allen 36 Stephen Maguire 41 John Higgins 46 Judd Trump 32 Nobody I would call next generation in the late teens to mid 20s to face. He probably would have still beaten someone around that age anyway but I think they would have put up a better fight than some of his older opponents did who have been around a very long time.
