    I hate to do this, but Brittain has confirmed what I said in my original post. Another concern that was ridiculed. I originally said the players have been given a play how you want freedom with no clear guidelines. Brittain tonight confirming the forwards are playing off the cuff. It stinks.

    Haha! Not quite! I do stand by my post though. And think realistically you need to at least give a new manager until Christmas until you can make a fair judgement.

    I get everyone will say we’ll be down by then but we probably won’t be and if it looks like we might be I’m fairly sure we won’t have to worry because I (Paul Conway) would have already sacked him if that were the case!

    It's astonishing to read this post now with the benefit of hindsight, particularly seeing the reaction to it at the time it was posted. It was a brave thing to post at the time, as the response to it that followed would have been inevitable, and entirely predictable, but it has proven to be undoubtedly the most prophetic post I can recall seeing on this Board.

    Kudos to @Robert_Goulet for calling it out at the time.
