    Like Gary Neville is better than Ashley Cole?

    Compare like for like. They play different positions. Williams is a better left back than Hassell, yes. But Hassell is a better right back than Williams. Hassell is also a better centre half than Williams.

    Anyone who thinks that Hayes has a first touch that is class, or quality or any of the other superlatives that are often incorrectly used on this board, is in dire need of some high powered glasses to watch the game with.

    We have had more shots on target than any other club so it's not luck we need. We are making that already.

    It's a pair of strikers who can pass the ball into the net we are short of.
