I thought it was a pretty good show, i would say that because we have been starved just lately on performances especially at home. Me and my mate were in tears when Ferenczi was clapped off, brought a big lump to the throat that did. Just like the old days when Glav was playing. :D :D :D

    Never thought...

...I'd see a defence worse than ours but Hull were a shambles at the back in the second half, infact there were times when I thought the ref had stopped play. Grove Street Primary could have defended better.

From where I am, it was (almost) the best 3-0 win ever!

Sooo good to be at work today. Best start collecting my winnings! :D

    Couldnt disagree more

Hull were poor, but you can only play what you're up against, and this is a side that has gone for 'experience'. I thought we totally bossed the game, looked likely to score every time we went forward, well organised at the back, kept the ball well (dont remember too many misplaced passes, sorry), work rate, passion, commitment, everything thats been lacking in recent weeks. And all despite a crap ref. I'd go as far as to say it was the best all round performance Ive seen this season, and I havent missed many.

Great entertainment too. You must be in the minority cos the fans reaction at the end of the game was definately a throw back to the Ritchie glory game(s).

I think this is the first time I've ever been able to say this...

We have played worse sides this season at home and lost. Luton and Coventry come to mind.

just shows what can happen when you get your quality players on the ball - no real credit to Davey though, because, as often happens, he chose the Hungarian pairing because the one he wanted to pick wasn't available! Still wish we had Mcindoe though, with Ferenczi up front, firing in the crosses. On the subject of quality, let's hope Paul Hayes is back in the team soon...
