    Said same literally about journey mate on a previous post. They were dire last time I saw em. Mainly technical problems. I need to balance that with the previous times. which were brilliant.

    Listening to the hoover is preferable to anything U2 have mustered since 1985.

    I’ve got about 20 U2 singles from the 80s. The last time I listened was probably the 80s. I’d swap the lot for a decent vinyl copy of Can the can.

    I saw Suzi at the Civic circa 1973. She was supporting Nazareth. To be honest, I have no particular interest in U2. I just believe that there is no such thing as ‘bad’ music. Just differing tastes.

    it’s an interesting idea. Do you think there is no good or bad in other art forms. Say art itself or cinema? That if my 11 year old draws something it’s the equal of Van Gogh or Michaelangelo if I say it Is? Or that Citizen Kane is objectively as good or bad as Hot Tub Time Machine if someone believes it is.
