RE: Tom Williams is the only one that gets anywhere near Gibbs

    Andy Holt?

From what I can remember, he wasn't much use down the left.

    Erm no !

This is all about personal choice - after watching Barnsley for 30 years he's one of the worst full backs we've had.

    Can't put him in!

Got his shirt from the Bradford promotion game hanging on my wall - wouldn't have been my first choice but it's still there

Can't believe Ilic is in there...

we have had some right **** in the nets a lot worse than him - whitehead, marriott, colgan, him from wycombe, tony bollock.

btw no surprise to see sambora sticking for up for gibbs - he will go to all lengths to defend him

Depends what was required of him.

In a 442 side that could afford the luxury of just requiring him to cross into the box he was a class winger. As a wing-back, which was how we played him, he was far too easily beatenor dispossessed. Itnever tooklong for the opposition to work out that our right wing was marshalled by a player who was scared to tackle.

Wow, I agree with you for a change. To have Ilic in there is a joke.

.Can't believe no-one has yet mentioned Tony Bedeau

Imagine a three-pronged attack of Bedeau, Dave Regis and Karl "the rapist" Rose. Would be lucky to notch double figures between 'em in a season. With Ryan Giggs on the wing.

Ian Woan on the wing surely.

So far past his best he was mouldy by the time he played for us.

I blame the person who told him he was a footballer.

Debated whether to stick Peter Sand in there, another one of Spackmans specials eh (£400,000??)

Didn't play enough games to make a judgement though

Can't think of much worse pal, Marriot and Colgan were way better as has been suggested.
