RE: That and Them and Barrow were the pits at that time mate remember the 1-0 probably my lowest ebb as a tarn fan.
Definitely the worst although losing 0-6 to Birmingham (about 95/96) was pretty bad. And Lee Butler saved a pen!
My God, but we were ***** in them days Far worse than anything this last decade. But do the young 'uns belive us? Do they heckers, like!
Stoke 3-3..... Not the way we played or owt, but the fact we were robbed by another shocking ref.... Plus Liam Lawrence the '****' scored a hat trick.... Bad Bad Day!!!!!
RE: My God, but we were ***** in them days Mi tongue were sore but tha could see thi face on our road.
RE: i thought he just got 2 righto mate. I just remember fuller strutting abart infront of the ponty like a peacock. ur right though. Lawrence is a tossa
RE: i thought he just got 2 I remember that as well, he'd thrown the teddy cos he wasnt getting it all his own way, so the ref was conned into sending Foster off and awarding 2 dodgy pens!!! Only person that came out of that game with any credit from Stoke was Jon Parkin who didnt get involved or rise to the abuse he was getting from the ponty....
V Norwich when this shower of **** gave up our Championship status without so much as a whimper Marriott ,Mulligan ,Gibbs ,Flynn ,Morgan ,Betsy (Barker ,74 ) ,Lumsdon (Neil ,63 ) ,Gary Jones ,Gorre ,Dyer ,Naylor (Sheron ,59) Subs not used: Kevin Miller,Chettle,

Andy Marriott excepted. Saved a penalty and looked like it mattered to him. The rest should have been banned from professional football for life.

seeing as you've got my worst, my second worst is.... being on the pitch celebrating making the play offs only to be told Steve Gatting had scored in the 95th minute
RE: 3 nil up V Ipswich on 80 odd mins and drawing 3-3! nt I took my mate to that game, a Crewe-come-converted-Barnsley fan. His first game. Didn't they also miss a penalty or miss a sitter to win it too??????? Ian Marshall got a couple and was it Simon Milton?
There have been many over the years, a few mentioned already. A recent one (2006?) is Vito Mannone against Luton. Couldn't believe it. Head in hands moment.
