Some good ones on here - but surprised no one has mentioned Richard Kell signed when already injured and most of us never saw him play either he was a complete waste of money Probably not as much of a waste as Mido was though and dont get me started on Kevin Donovan as mentioned above 4 years and he made Scott Wiseman look world class both in effort and skill. Harder to judge the selling disasters as there is usually more to it than we know
With you 100% on Wiseman. The spineless bell-end. Hopefully Preston won't go up so we can give him some well deserves abuse.
That doesn't mean he wanted away, it means that he didn't want to be on less than the likes of Hristov and that he wanted a fair wedge that we (at that time) could afford to pay. Instead we took a million quid - he had to go somewhere he really didn't fancy to start all over again - and we didn't have a hope in hell of finding another Neil Redfearn. It was insanity. The kind of daft thinking that has riddled our transfer dealings for as Long as I've been a BFC fan. Honestly, you could offer us a million for anything - we know the value of nothing.
I think Redfearn has stated quite clearly that he didn't want a transfer and was pretty much sold without asking him. The. When he sat down with Charlton the money was too good to turn down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
That was a shocker as well - Martin Woods - and we only gave him 6 months but it was far too long. One of the biggest wastes of a red shirt I've seen
I remember Eric Tinkler having his contract renewed when he was out with a long term injury. He missed the entire 2000/2001 season.
