Is it worse than 1986-87? My memory of that is we lost our first 20 games or summat, most of them without scoring a goal. It wasn't that bad, but I thought we lost our first 6 or 7 and only won a couple before the new year. Fantastic second half to the season though, without changing manager.

We lost the first six, then drew one before our first victory against someone called Grimsby Town on 27th September 1986.

The biggest defeat was only 2-0 though. We weren't getting tonked every week.

Is Hill still the holder of the worst barnsley manager ever title? and is it under threat?
