Or loan debt written off to comply with SCMP?

He's written off existing loans several times and under SMCP, incoming funds have had to be "gifts". I think the main creditor in previous accounts have been the bank.

I don't understand SCMP. How is Lansdown at Bristol funding their largesse ?

SCMP only applies to League One and Two. Championship FFP allows a £13m loss per season if the owner injects equity, a £5m loss per season if they don't. Mental.

The latest published accounts are to 31 May 2015. The accounts to 31 May 2016 will not be published until 2016 although Mr Cryne stated recently that they showed a loss of £1m, and this would have had to have been funded, presumably by Mr Cryne. The accounts are for the football club only as the land and buildings are held by another company which is owned 50/50 by the council and Mr Cryne. Mr Cryne paid £3m for his share of that company. The rest of this posting relates to the football club accounts to 31 May 2015

Those accounts show a loan from Mr Cryne of £2,660,588, share capital of £3,900,000 of which £1,000,000 is in shares, which is not easily redeemable and £2,900,000 is in a share subscription account which is. Mr Cryne acts as guarantor for the bank overdraft which at that time stood at £1,412,683. In the previous year, he donated £840,000, which would be hard for him to get back without deduction of income tax.
