Mr Frisby, who spent three months in hospital after the crash and now uses a wheelchair, told the court how he saw Mr Hughes' silver CL500 approaching on the wrong side of the road.

Mrs Graham, who was in the back passenger seat with her husband, also suffered severe injuries in the collision

She died a year later - never really recovering from the accident and loss of her husband

Simon Corney sounds like he might let Lee go for even less than the release clause. If that happens their would be uproar over the Pennines.

personally think hes a scumbag and would'nt want him

accidents can happen to anybody but to just piss off and leave the occupants of the car to die and then turn up 36 hours later ffs! not as if he did'nt have time to change his mind.

    The 36 hours is significant

It is alleged by some that he was significantly over the drink driving limit and might have had coke in his bloodstream

The delay gave him chance to cleanse himself a little

He had already a previous conviction and ban for drink driving

RE: The 36 hours is significant

that was my opinion at the time can't see any other reason for it, even so doing it virtually makes you guilty by associaton. Still a really lousy thing to do leaving somebody in that state

    as I've said before........

scum, and shouldn't be allowed to besmirch the name of Barnsley.
I don't condone abusing our own, but for him I'd gladly make an exception.
Let him rot in the cess of Donny
