Stop talking rubbish I'm not singling out for any other reason than I don't rate him. It's nothing to do with age, him being homegrown or anything. I think Tonge is excellent, yet he has considerably LESS experience than Wroe. Gone are the days it seems where you can have an opinion.
Reading between the lines in Andy's press conference last night, I think they should both be back barring further injury.
good to hear, problem solved wroe bk on bench. colgan austin reid carbon williams shuker kay burns devanney hayes bbb think aussie should be prefered to tongue cos donni will come to tarn hard n i think aussie will be in his element, big fan of aussie n hes playin well hope it continues
Ruin Nicky Woe...you are having a laugh!! Hes not bloody good enough...Full Stop Thats not 'cos hes home grown its because hes not good enough.
RE: Stop talking rubbish Of course you are entitled to your opinion. And if you choose to single out Wroe for particular criticism then I guess that is your right. Tell me though, have you ever known a player (young or old) improve in response to the type of destructive criticism dished out at Oakwell? How do you personally respond to destructive criticism? I must admit I find it puzzling that, despite the expert views of yourselves and others, those in charge at Oakwell, and previous regimes, seem to rate the guy. But that is no different to a whole host of previous players to which this comment applies.
RE: Stop talking rubbish Well unless Nicky reads this site then it isn't going to affect him anyway. I used to defend him as I thought I could see some potential there, but unfortunately I believe that if anything he is becoming less effective. I agree that to destructively criticise someone to their face is not a good idea, however, to pretend everything's okay and that all our players are brilliant does even less good.
RE: Stop talking rubbish OK. Let's beg to differ. Wroe may end up as just another journeyman, or plying his trade in non-league and you will have been proved right. I still think young players (and he is still very young), are more likely to thrive if they are encouraged rather then pilloried. Presumably that's what we want?
much missed? I'm still capable y'know. Tuesday Sept 20th sat at home, played play station as my team Stoke had already succumbed to the might of Mansfield in the last round, where I failed to score. Anyway, who cares, it's a tinpot trophy. Every Satdy sat on bench, watched tedious game of football. Came on with 6 minutes left, failed to score, but calculate I earnt £2.50/second, which is more than Zidane last time I saw his wage posted. ha haaaaa...I'm better than Zidane, I am! Eat my diallowed-goal-for-offide Zinedine!!!!!!!!!! etc
You lot hammer a local lad who`s young, tries and maybe just maybe will make a half-decent player, then go on to defend a centre forward who`s slow, cumbersome and will struggle to score 5 - 6 goals a season amazing. Wroe is still trying to take his chance while our local kids ride has had one too many.
Ha Ha Ha !. Just had to reply. You obviously haven't watched the 'Donny' then, they're rubbish, Darn with the Donny. UP THE Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarn!
