or turn the half time shoot out into a league against the opposion teams and so it makes it that the kids are playing 'for Barnsley' and get them on the pitch at the end of the year to give them their runner up or winners medals each.

Face painters and shirts given away is a great idea. Man U have done this for years, they also have entertainers/magicians walking about entertaining. This may be one cost too far for Barnsley though.

Kids love face painters! I like the half time entertainment when an adult gets to take a penalty for a cash prize (say £50). I know that doesn't make money, but it's more interesting to watch.

The thing I want more than anything (off the pitch) is for the concourse to be painted. That's the only thing that properly bothers me.

Or incentivise and reward those who stump money up front!

20 odd home league games! If this was incentivised im certain the 'costs' would be outwayed with the extra -few who'd see it as an added incentive. I've been int centenary society for 20 yrs and not had a penny.

Toby needs a new lease of life

When I first started going he was ALWAYS visible on the pitch or walking around it throwing sweets to the kids. These days finding him is like finding the loch ness monster and when you do finally spot him he's just strolling around doing nowt. He used to score a goal EVERY game but now it's one every few months and he's embarrassingly missed more than he's scored.

The announcer we have now is awful at engaging with the fans. Does a decent job of reading from a bit of paper but that's it. What's his name anyone? No? But I bet you all know who Jason was and who Lenny was. The reason? Interaction and engaging with the fans. They loved what they did and it showed, it wasn't just reading a script it was part of the show, part of the entertainment.

Sort the bloody scoreboard out!!! With us going down people will say it isn't important but I think it is MORE important now to show the fans that the club is still trying to go forward and not just accepting being a third rate club that is literally breaking down plus the additional advertising revenue will be essential.

Half time entertainment. In the MIDDLE of the bloody pitch using more space than 3 square inches. Wednesday had the whole ground watching their efforts, we're lucky if the kids parents even bother to watch what is essentially an identical game to one that used to cost 50p at thorsby market.

Get somebody in to bend the tunnel so that it rolls out right to the corner of the pitch facing the corner flag diagonally. It is soul destroying watching players trudge out away from the pitch. How many other clubs do this? I dont know any

**** off with that god awful black blade music that is often played twice because they time it so badly. It's too loud, stops anyone talking, kills atmosphere and bored the pants of everyone in the stadium apart from the directors who are probably busy sipping wine or something at the time.

Paint the stands and remove the outdated signage. Admiral is still clearly seen on the sign in the east stand for example. Even the new refreshment stall signage that was added this season features a badge that was out of date the day they fitted them

TVs! it's utterly pointless buying them when you dont bother to turn them on and it's almost as pointless turning them on just to show an image of the oakwell pitch at 2pm. If they want to do that then install a webcam and let us watch it at 2am too, it'll get just as many fans through the doors. ie none

So the same suggestions as every year for the last 10 seasons then basically

Ok, so I lied. This ALL bothers me actually.

I've thought of something else, I know it's down to the sponsors, but I used to love all the freebies at the Open Day. ORA was by far the best with this, they sent so much stuff there was boxes of it left over and the presenter people on stage used to do daft comps giving away literally piles of stuff to each person. Health and Safety would probably not allow it, but scrambling after a crappy pen or mousemat (those things were lethal when thrown!) was great fun!! Open Day is crap now, except for the inflatable style table football and the kids matches of course.
