WSB match day experience thread - its proper serious like

    That's excellent work Gally. I love the Sunderland stuff with the kid friendly banners in the family stand. Much better than the dark grey breeze blocks we get.

    The proposed kids area/bar, would that be basically a walled off section of the concourse that's already there or is it a new build on the outside of the stand (ie in the corner)? Also has anybody looked into how much it would cost to 'finish' the east stand by extending the middle section either side of the exec entrance?

    Yes the sunderland sort of thing is what we would ideally like to create in the family area.

    The bar/kids area that I have the plans for essentially encloses the the existing concessions stand right up to the fire exit and as far as the wall where the first entry to the stadium is, if you understand what Im saying. It includes a suspended ceiling to keep the elements out as the East Stand lower is exposed above the turnstiles.

    That's essentially encompassed all our ideas and suggestions. It just riles me that for little or no money that these ideas haven't even been implemented in any way shape or form!

    Then after 12 months of promises of an improved match day experience with no signs of any, we get ST info wanting early renewals. If 1/4 of these suggestions were in place with definate plans for further improvements the ST take up would be far higher I'd reckon?!?
