Aye, because some people on the internet who don't understand the law regarding rape or just have horrendous views regarding women that means he's probably innocent.

 

That's why there is an appeals process which upheld the original verdict.

Maybe there is but how many cases per million would you be talking? I'd suggest very very few.

I wasn't referring to you with the horrendous bit. 12 men and women, presented with all the evidence over a few days were 100% convinced he was guilty. As was the appeals court. But people think they are better placed to say the conviction is unsafe based on a website written by the convicted rapist himself.

 

ah sorry I apologise 100% then. I think the problem is in a case like this is ( I'm not trying to trivialise it one little bit ) if he'd beat the crap out of her there would have been a lot more evidence and he should have got life but for me in a case like this it boils down to he said she said, its still rape but its the consent thing. I think I may have put it badly but if I'm with a woman if she withdraws consent halfway through then it then depends which way my arse goes to whether I'm cracking one off or doing 4 years

I've seen all the ridiculous posts from you and, thankfully, only a handful of the usual suspects, that seem to be convinced Ched Evans is anything put a dirty filthy SEX OFFENDER. The same one I don't doubt you and your ilk would want "stringing up, castrated, sent back to their own country" if they happened to be anything other than british or a footballer.

The country is sick when there are people willing to defend a rapist. Thankfully it is a very very small percentage of intellectually and socially challenged morons.

And really? Are you that stupid that you ask people to read a website paid for to promote Evans and discredit a woman who's only offense was to get drunk past the point of being able to, by law, consent. A woman who's life has been ruined by that rapist you're so keen to defend.
