Live is actually £25 a year or thereabouts. Loads of places selling gold codes for around the £25 mark.
You're not wrong! They'd split the queues at ASDA on Monday night for the Modern Warfare 2 launch - PS3 down one line, 360 the other. PS3 queue was almost exclusively hollow-eyed, spotty 15/16/17 year olds with bad tracksuits with one leg hitched up, Reebok classics and baseball caps at jaunty angles. 360 queue was, ahem, mainly well-heeled, urbane forty-somethings, who'd also picked up some Pinot Grigio while they were in.
RE: Live is actually £25 a year well in that case, it adjust my point to possible 3 or 4 on top of the console. i know where im renewing mine then this year!
RE: You're not wrong! They should have challenged them for ID - It's an 18 rated game. Heard a few stories about underage looking folk not getting it because they couldnt' prove it. Priceless Got mine from Makro - £20 inc VAT.
RE: You're not wrong! ASDA were handing them over with no checks. There were kids in that queue clearly round the 13/14 mark and others who looked no older than 9 or 10 being handed the game by their parents once they'd paid. Ridiculous.
I actually tried the deal, but would only let you add forza 3, plus the separate box that included both Lego Batman, Pure & the controller.
Do you need to subscribe to Sky movies to be able to access them, and are they all free ! But, prob be pointless for me with my 1MB connection and 2GB monthly cap, but it might be worth upgrading
I don't subscribe to Sky but my parents do (different addresses). All you need to get it working is the logon to a Sky account (username / password). I believe that if they also subscribed to Sky Multiroom, you can watch all the channels via the Xbox. As they don't, I can only access a few live channels and the movie library.
I have both ps3 and xbox elite and didn't pay for either one was a valentines present and the other I won!
Do you take shampoo and conditioner into the shower by chance? I used to try to convince people it had to be PS3 all the way, but now I also have a 360 i'm unbiased. To be fair I still think the better and smarter kit is the PS3, and for any casual online gamer then PS3 is the way to go. Having said that, if you are the die-hard gamer then it has to be the 360. And aren't Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid exclusives?
Thats a nifty feature regarding Sky mate! I don't have SKy either but my parents do - shame they don't have Movies though.
A very good read that mate, unfortunately I think you spoiled it right at the end by adding your two-penneth. All that unbiased stuff, then you appeared to slam the PS3. Without that people can form their own opinions. By using suggestion you are diverting people away semi-consciously without maybe realising it. Still a good read prior to that and I applaud your efforts
Right, I seee. I'd not seen the special offers bit. Isn't there a selection of games to choose from? Surely they wouldn't let you have the three dearest games??
see my post just above. I think you are restricted to Forza3, Lego Batman & Pure. try the website and stick them in your basket
