Xbox help - difference between Arcade & Elite

    backward compatibility is an empty deal anyway...

    ...as soon as you get a next gen console the chances of you wanting to play one of your old games is between slim and none. Should you ever actually do it, you'll realise that it now feels completely two dimensional and boring. Besides - you've still got your old machine, should you ever really feel like blowing the dust off it.

    As has already been said teh X-Box looks like a good deal, but what with good old microsoft and their plentiful extra charges it soon levels up. Buy a PS3 and you're away - nothing else to spend unless you really want to. Plus they are fantastic and the built in blu-ray is a genuine boon.
