York. 1:50 Nostrum. 2:25 Denmark. 3:00 Covey. 3:35 Real Dream. 4:10 Gale Force Maya. 4:45 Baheer. 5:20 Gaassee.
No winners yesterday but the betfair places helped the small profit. Today is equally tough so only one bet in the 4.10 if the price looks ok - Orazio to bounce back from a disappointing Goodwood now there's better turf underfoot. 1. Nostrum 2. Fox Journey 3. Sacred 4. Real Dream 5. Orazio - probably backing each way 6. Inquisitively 7 Astro King. Quite a few Buick picks there as well which I dont really like as statistically jockeys tend not to have several winners on the same card. Ah well.. Good luck to one and all.
Remember. Don't bet more than you can afford to lose And as there a few clear gambling addicts on the BBS who are struggling then for or anyone who needs it then help is available at www.begambleaware.org/
Don't worry Super Tyke. The nanny state will close us all down (problematic or not) when affordability checks come in with the proposed gambling law reforms.
I don't think you're a gambling addict who gambles money he can't afford to lose so it wasn't really aimed at you. It was aimed at those who struggle and there are clearly a few on here who do judging from posts they've made. No judgement from me, just a link for help
At this point I have to add in Kinross as a selection in the City Of York Stakes (3.00). He has drifted to 100/30 from as short as 6/4 when the declarations were made. The ITV pundits were questioning the ground for him, but his record shows him winning on good to firm and recording a Racing Post Rating within a pound of his best. He came into form at this time last year and took this race having run down the field at Royal Ascot. He did so again this year then placed at Newmarket before winning at Goodwood.
Real Dream is my fancy for the Ebor… stepped up to 1m 6f at Ascot and won convincingly. Hasn’t had many races. Best jockey of the moment on board. Also it’s a decent enough price to go EW. Cheers ST for your concern
Not that I blame them, but they seem to retire so young nowadays .. Carson was over 50 and Piggott must have been 60 ish. I’m not name dropping but I’ve met Hanagan and Fahey a few times. A friend used to have a few horses with Fahey around 20 years ago. Have you any guesses as to who this second retirement jockey is ?
Well they let slip that Rab Havlin had invited his whole family up today. So either he's very confident of Sweet William or maybe today's the day he hangs up his boots! Rab is 49, by the way.
Two winners and a place but won nothing as my only bet was a non runner! Cest la vie eh? P.s. Obviously I lost nowt!!
This anyone off here https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...sful-punter-not-cash-pay-12-000-winnings.html What a joke. Even if they don't have the cash, they should have the ability to do an instant bank transfer or even write a cheque.
