So is this one of those batting paradise pitches that opposition groundsman are putting up against Yorkshire to try and get the draw?

Declared unbeaten with partnership at 366. 2nd highest Yorkshire partnership ever. Best seventh wicket partnership ever in English county cricket and third best ever in world cricket, just 6 runs short of the 2nd best.

Fantastic though that partnership was it's possible that the same thing could happen as last year. They put us in, we scored over 500 and made them follow on. But then Durham batted out the time and forced a draw. Could happen again but I hope not. A win here and the title is ours again, unless there is a dramatic drop in form for the rest of the season.

still a good haul, and those bonus points could be worth their weight in gold come crunch time.

    Re: Almost

Scott Borthwick has just tossed his wicket away with a rash shot. It was looking like none down at tea but I just had a sneaky feeling we would winkle one of them out. Then comes another one!

Be nice to wrap this up tonight and I think Durham will be so disheartened now that it could well happen. We are going to win, anyway it comes.

    Happy Days!

244-4. So another 106 needed to make us bat again.
