You all know my feelings about SD

I suppose we have to give Simon Davey time. It went pear shaped for Gudjon when he brought a lot of players in , also Hart never had much success when he brought a whole team in. It's all about quality and experience in this league. We have only a handful of players who come up to this standard at the moment, the rest will fall by the way-side. Still if Simon Davey is hear in January there is always the loan market to try and pull us up the league.

I really want Davey to do well and to make our team a force in this league, to see us playing good passing football like Watford were playing yesterday It will take time, but if like me you have seen Barnsley perform in pre-season and the first match against Coventry, and then the lucky draw against one of the poorer sides in this league yesterday, then it dosn't give you much confidence of Simon Daveys tactics or his involvment in the transfer market.

Still there is a long long way to go, trouble is can we watch this kind of negative football for the remaining season. The jury is still out.
