You can put your Sky+ in your bottom. Telewest customers see this.

    Nice review.

Will you do another when they launch the service proper?

I'm out at least 4 nights a week.

The rest of the time I want quality.

    Yerself?

    Spend my evenings

    Looking at this shitty site!

Our lass is sucked into mindless TV and she wont let me out.

Cant afford to go out even if she let me!

Sky gets the boot as soon as I get a house with cable / decent TV reception.

Sounds like you need to get into drugs mate. Much cheaper than alcohol, your lass will be off like a shot and Coronation Street will be a religious experience.

    RE: I'll say it again.

I hope they do have a good product at a competitive price, that'll be good for consumers.

Do Telewest offer the same for less? It depends what you compare - Sky offer more channels and currently have a better product.

at the time I didn't go with Telewest when I might have done they didn't have NASN or Sky Sports Extra on their platform so it was a complete no-go for me...as soon as I said that to the salesman he shut up because he realised they couldn't offer that. At the moment I'm satisfied with Sky. it would take something special to get me to swap to Telewest given the problems I experienced with their boxes before.
If I was completely looking at a bottom line of cost then I might be swayed but I've had 15 years of virtually trouble free viewing with Sky, I had 1 year of constant problems with Telewest that had it been on my main TV would have been even worse.

Movies - it's down to what suits your preference, I considering getting rid of the movie channels cause ar lass keeps renting dvd's anyway so I end up having seen loads of them. But prior to her moving in it suited my needs - I didn't go to cinema, didn't bother renting, because I was happy enough watching the films when they came on Sky...I'd still be happy enough to do that.
