You can't win a football match

I always try and reflect on a game as independent as I can. I didn't think the 1st leg ref was as bad as some. I thought the ref yesterday was very poor. Biased...no...just allowed the antics to get to him and not consistent. I don't blame him for our loss however. Swansea were well prepared for our style and dealt with it. Outclassed us....not at all. We looked good in spells when we got the ball down and ran at them but that was only limited. Over the years we have played teams from a higher level..and lost . and come away feeling cheated.. sometimes victim mentality. Cold light of day we were generally out done tactically . This team of young men are still niaive in some respects but have performed absolute heroics all year. I can't find any fault, I won't blame a referee and we will always be little old Barnsley if we do. If this team sticks together we will be there again next year. Forget the excuses accept it's football and watch us grow . Optimistic and positive. COYR

But I hope Swansea go up. Games against Brentford are excellent. Two teams with differing styles trying to win at this game we call football. Swansea do everything in their power to prevent any football being played. Get 'em gone, I can't think of anything worse than watching them fall down and time waste for another 90 minutes. Let the Premier League teams rip them to pieces for a season.
