Rory fallon thought he was going to be the next peter crouch leo bertos, n that lad who we got from non league think he went to grimsby after or before he was here
You didn't click on the video then? He's still at Boro. Getting more opportunities now, and rave reviews again. That goal on Tuesday was something else. If you read WSB, I've interviewed him. Out next weekend, the 19th. Calls you all cnuts.
It's good to see he's finally getting the chance he deserves...still a **** tho for wanting to leave a struggling championship team and try ply his trade in the premiership...seriously what kind of fool would want to do that, while quadrupling your wages in the process, I mean c'mon who in the right mind would do that?
The list is endless. Troy Bennett and David Brooke, both played for England Boys with Chris Jackson. Ended up at Scarborough and then on the piss in Wombwell. Before them, Mark Burton, who ended up getting injured when his career looked to be taking off. Glynn Hurst - Looked great in Reserves and scored plenty but didnt do it in Mr's football, until he left. Jonny Parkin - Career took off after he was released by us although thats probably a different story. Carl Barrowclough. Rory Penderghast - looked good in a few pre season friendlies and was then released not long after.
I did click on the video, but then again Ive seen kayode odejayi score goals on youtube, so it dunt mean a great deal. Its good hes getting more of a go at it, is he on loan or is it a permanant thing?
David Hirst brilliant for 17 year old, ended up in the Sheffield Satdi league. The two Andy's, Kiwomya and Duggan Mickey Clarke. Has a superb 5 minute spell vs Blackburn only to disappear into the ether ..... Paul Cross (Charlie) started well then decided to stay with Barnsley. Nuff said. Winnie Campbell Mark Ogley Foreman and Chandler Andy Rhodes Willie Ferry (turning circle of the QE2)
David Hirst sold him on similar lines as stonesy David Speedie. .pity Clarkey dint like him Anthony Kaye thought he was gonna be a good lad for us.
I watched a lot of the reserve team games in the late 90's and thought that both Sean McClare and Brian O'Callaghan were excellent prospects.
