    Midgleys or summat?</p>

    T'other side from Ward's shop at bottom of Rock Street.</p>

    There was a paper shop and a barbers there too.</p>

    Another couple of corner shops at bottom of Prospect and Keir Streets as well.</p>

    Jesus, I wish I had some photos of the old place.</p>

    Bloody hell rufus tha must be older me, I remember Spotted Leopard, can,t remember having a drink in there (too young,we dint start trying to get served in pubs till we were sixteen in them days) at that time a guy I knew as Elvis, Phil Elrington I think his name was, now landlord of the Mount I think, his parents or some other close relative had the Leopard. If my memory is correct, The Outpost carried on the licence from The Leopard or was it The Warrior, alus get mixed up wi them two.
