    I forgot that one!

When Wolves lost 2-1 at Reading and we won 4-0 against Oldham I was singing it in my back garden.....

Got to be the best ever.

We ain't got a barrel of money, but we've got Cooper and Currie
And Lowndes on the wing, doing his thing
    Side by side.

I think that's how it went. Not my favourite but worth a mention.

Rewording greasy chip butty and shoving it down the blunts cake holes at there own ground. One of those moments where you are glad you come from Barnsley

It was clever, funny and perfect for the moment

So true....still brings a chuckle to the fore even now

Just thought of another clasic from the past.........

I was living in denham at the time running a pub called the nighting gale, barnsley were playing watford at vicarage rd which in the grand scheme of things wasnt very far from me,
Whilst walking to the ground i noticed one or two of the lads wearing crepe bandages on their left wrists ( if memory serves me well ) once in the ground i noticed hell of a lot more....chuff me what the fcuks being happing on the way down i thought , bus windows put through, hand up to cover face from glass maybe......

All became apparent when the cry ......

Ooohhh gerry gerry oooohhh gerry gerry....went up and over walks taggett himself with a light weight plaster cast on his wrist ( damaged that morning )..

Arm on chest then thrust back and forth to more chants of ....oooohhhh gerry gerry...

    Hero worshipped or what...lol

My favourite ever song us the Tam Tams Paddy McCourt song to Dancing in the Dark.

When we played York away in the FA Cup (04??) there was a group of lads singing to Pink Floyd s Another Brick In The Wall:

Rory Fallon's got no ball control
Rory Fallon's got no ball control
Hey, Rory, leave that ball alone.

It was quite funny. For 5 minutes. Then I wanted to kill them

For me it has to be cheer up Mark McGee as sung when we lost at Portsmouth in our premier promotion year (Wolves lost at home) and when we were promoted against Bradford, with Wolves in 3rd place. Magic !

We lost on the Tuesday night and Wolves drew at home against Grimsby 1-1 a prepubescent John Oster scored for the Mariners. I remember I couldn't find out the final score of the Wolves game in the days before t'internet. :)

    Sorry to be pedantic ;)

I did have a laugh at the Chelsea chant in response, which was, "f... all! You're gonna win f... all!" Made me laugh.
