There'll always be an argument as to whether it's a christmas film or a film just set at Christmas. I can see that argument for the 2nd one. But for me the first is definitely a Christmas film. It's set at Christmas, has Christmas music throughout, and is the result of a pretty eventful Christmas party. #TeamsLikeBarnsley

Another vote for Trading Places. I know it's a Thanksgiving film but as I first saw it at Christmas, I'm going to cheat and also say Planes, trains & Automobiles.

Always like Scrooge, but Muppets Christmas Carol and Scrooged are good in the same theme. Loved Die Hard but that's not what would be classed as a traditional theme. In recent years I though Arthur Christmas was excellent
