    Our promotion push petered out once Brian Arblaster got injured and was replaced by Brian Sharratt.

    RE: 1967, i think, we beat Bradford Park Avenue

    i was 7 years old and in the Brewery stand one tuesday night in 1967 with my dad, we were the only two in there, in fact when the ball came in i went and got it and got wet through, when it came in again my dad wouldn't let me go down and i can remember him saying to the player " you'll have to get it yourself he got wet through last time" and that's what they did. Happy days

    But some guy called Tufnell scored a late winner. Was hooked and never looked back since.
