Bobster owned him, it came as no surprise. Proper championship player is the lad.

Most intelligent footballer at the Club. Reads the game inside out. The thinking man's player

He is. Just ignore Mary on this subject, he's just a bit embarrassed that Sir Bobby keeps proving him wrong. People can act a little silly when they're embarrassed.

I think the guy we've got from Hull could be that. From what Danny said in his interview and from the footage we've seen on youtube, he hasn't been brought in as a target man, he's been brought in to play off O'Grady and to convert the balls that are put in to the box. Hope he can do it.

Agreed. People look at his size and assume target man. If you look at his goals, he's not that at all. He's a box player from what I've seen

Me too. All the goals he scored at Hull were him getting on the end of stuff in the box. Something we really need.

The guy from Hull who came on here said the one problem they had with Proschwitz was that he didn't look physically up to the English game. If we're not playing him as a target man and Chris O'grady is taking the brunt of the physical encounters, which is the best part of his game, hopefully we can get the best out of Proschwitz by using him as something of a goal poacher.

He was your archetypal target man when I saw him.

But finished well when he got his only chance, in the box.

    So **** knows.

Not necessarily, Mellon played him in a deeper role against Brighton and he controlled the game. That said he was given a more advanced role in the 2nd half and he scored. I suppose the point im trying to make is that when Mellis is on form, he can play in a number of different roles in the side.

Turner is cover for Luke. Not a replacement.

Woods is a winger, not a holding midfielder or centre half/full back.

So you are wrong, twice. As usual, Phil. :)

Let me put it this way then, in every game I've seen him play against us, he played wide left.

He won't replace Bobby. Nobody could.

Think you need to read up a bit more about theses signings. Turner is cover for Steele, with his own name on one of the subs seats. Woods is a winger.
HA HA HA HA HA or something like that.
