    Yaeh I posted last week saying

    If you put together a Barnard montage you'd be thinking "Why did we ever get rid?"

    Trouble is after he missed that penalty at Wembley ... he was a different player. I don't believe he scored a free kick after that, yet prior to that he was seriously dangerous from dead balls.

    He was a waste of space in his last season.

    One of my favourite Barndard clips (obviously Huddersfield is THE best) is his pass to Hristov for Hristov to score against Leeds away. Long diagonal ball from his own half, where he finds Hristov in the box who hits it (full?) on the volley. Van Basten-esq (although Hristov has less to do than Van Basten, and Barnard has much more to do than the bloke in the clip)

    He had scored 12 or 13 goals by then , but after the injury he seemed half the player.</p>

    He seemed to lose the ability to run.</p>
