Haha hardly, just realistic. Same as somebody else has said, Galloway has latched on to a single issue and won a by election in a ward where that issue resonates strongly. I doubt very much he'd win in a general election with 15-20% higher turnout.

I'm no trumpet blower for any political party, if I was a labour spin doctor I doubt I'd suggest that ed miliband was anonymous and lacked presence!

The fact that the Tories lost as much as labour there means neither will comment too much. The only person shouting is galloway himself, and that on his past form is far from surprising. I doubt he'll even stand in the same ward come the election in two or three years.

Yeah - and so was the green party candidate. The Tory who came second there in 2010 was too, the facts are they've voted purely on a war issue.

It's just lefties voting with their feet without selecting a more realistic alternative - but you can see why.

How many lefties who voted lib dem in 2010 due to disillusionment with brown, but would never dream of voting tory, are happy with the result d'ya reckon?

Lib dems will lose at least half their seats come the next election.

They just asked him on the BBC. He had a bit of rant and walked out of the studio.
