You remember to not carry a stick, there's know saying what they will think it is.

It's what happens when you give dunderheads a weapon that gives instant gratification to the person using it. If they werent police they'd be arrsted and charged, but stick them in a uniform and some power and it's 'acceptable'.

Ive seen a copper use it on someone first hand, a horrific and awful thing to see, i can only imagine the pain of the tazer especially when he had no warning of it coming. The copper jumped on him and fired it in his back from about 12" away. When I shouted at the copper to stop i was threatened with arrest by another officer. 3 police cars turned up, 6 coppers jumped out and despite the guys lack of ability to stand was deemed a 'threat'.

Ive got **** all respect for coppers, because most of them are brainless goons and the ones who do think are lying *******s who will do anything to protect their colleagues.

    **** 'em.

It's a single incident, executed by a copper who is obviously not up to the job and should be dismissed for gross misconduct.

Like any profession, there are good and some bad individuals in the job. In the police the bad ones are even more deplorable as they are in a position of trust. However, you choose to refer to the entire police force as idiots, when I can guarantee that the majority of serving officers will have given outstanding service in a difficult job and contributed far more to society than you ever will.

When you say 'they' do you mean the whole police force Phil because that is one hell of a sweeping statement that you have just made. I'm sure there will be an enquiry into the circumstances when all the facts will come out and an informed outcome reached. Until you have tried to do a job under stressful and demanding circumstances maybe you should consider your judgement a bit more because quite frankly you haven't got a fecking clue.

Only its not a single incident, there's loads you don't hear about because they dont make the press. Many dunderhead coppers are in charge of a weapon that has been shown to kill people under certain circumstances. Unless it makes a headline and gets coverage it gets swept under the carpet.

If there was a reason not to arm the police - here it is!! Saw this on the news tonight - how they thought it was a samurai sword I'll never know!! I agree it is a stressful job but they are trained to do this - they don't just give them to anyone!!

Yet how many incidents per year are dealt with correctly? How many officers risk their lives dealing with incidents each day of their working lives. Of course the **** ups are serious and unforgivable and should be paid for by the individual if proven to be negligent, but many of the errors occur in high pressure situations. Unfortunately, due to the job, it takes a member of the public to be dead, injured or mistreated to find out who the incompetent officers are.

Do you also hold a grudge against all doctors because of Harold Shipman, against all nurses because of Beverly Allitt, or against all Social Workers because of the few that have allowed abused children to remain with their families? Generalising against all because of the actions of a few.

Now that you're too scared to sensationally abuse Sir Bobby, you've found something else to go too far on.

If you had half a brain then you'd know that "murder" can only be pre-meditated... the worst that the officers who shot the Brazilian guy can ever be guilty of is manslaughter.

Are you serious? My best mate's a copper and a bloody good one, as is my cousin who has served 20-odd years and has worked his way up a long way after admirable service.

Your comments simply show your sever lack of intelligence and ability to have any sort of sensible debate.

You just don't learn do you. Do you understand what murder is? And the difference between you and them is that they are doing an incredibly difficult job dealing with the dregs of society and sometimes things go wrong, sometimes tragically but they are not immune from prosecution when they break the law.

Actually is Hemsworth's post about the police being "murderers" libellous? I know that if someone was referring to me as a murderer on a public forum then I'd hope it would be a classed as a criminal offence.
