    We've somehow managed t get £5m for our weakest (regular playing) defender and replace him for presumably next to nowt with a better more hungry replacement. Excellent bit of business

    My man of the match. He and Roberts were excellent. No messing about, if there's a threat of danger, he sticks his laces through it. I like watching us play football but sometimes there's nothing wrong with just clearing your lines.

    Your centre halves were excellent. Even more excellent considering they were brought in from the lower leagues. Fantastic scouting and recruitment and I wish North End would do similar.

    It looks like with Roberts leading the back four and a young hungry MacDonald learning from him we could have the best central defence pairing for years

    Aye, it's incredible to think that they've played less than 50 professional games between them.

    And 4 of the back 5 (including the goalkeeper) are in their debut championship season. 2 of them have never played above league 2 and MacDonald hadn't played in the Football League.

    Someone's got an eye for a player at our club, I'd love to know who it is.

    Oh, and for context, that 'grilling' came the week after sacking another manager and losing 5-1 away at Crawley & was well needed in my eyes.

    I suppose that's why WSB have never been granted a PC interview since. Ah well. I stand by everything I asked that night.
