Neither do I. I think it's purely down to how much money the spreadsheet says we can earn and the manager only gets to say yes or no at the end rather than being able to identify anyone or have any real say in a selection process. It does show though that without there being a bit of back and forth in the question and answer session then a lot of the answers only paint half a picture. Not a criticism of the meetings but just saying they don't always say what people think they're saying. Or to put it another way I'm not sure what I'm saying
Firstly you don’t know me. And if you did you wouldn’t accuse me of silly things like you do. Secondly you wrote: .............. ‘Daniel works with the recruitment team to come up with profiles for each position based on the way he wants us to play’. So change the name Daniel to Hecky and it’s still very much WELL DONE HECKY for identifying player profiles. And if you listened to Hecky interviews while at Barnsley, his involvement in recruitment was much more involved - that’s until Ganaye stepped in. So it’s even more WELL DONE HECKY. Thirdly - I’m putting ‘well done Hecky’ in capital letters because there is a large percentage of posters on here that slag Hecky off and have totally forgotten how good Barnsley were to watch at that time - that’s until he had his team sold from underneath him. Hecky was a brilliant manager for Barnsley. His loss only mitigated by the recruitment of Stendel.
No one has forgotten how good times were when Hecky had good players. He can't dine out on it forever though.
We're now seeing the Mowatt that my Leeds supporting mates told me we had signed. They said he'd lost his way a bit but that he had championship level ability at the very least.
Message to Leeds fans who are urging Bielsa to take Alex Mowatt back to Leeds " mitts off, he's a Red." In all honesty looking and listening to him on the clip posted after the win against Scunny, I honestly feel he might even be reluctant to return to Leeds. It's likely he's earning less with us, but he's a key component in a squad that look to be enjoying their football and is fast becoming a fans favourite, which begs the question why would he want to go back there just to probably play a cameo role as a substitute.?Footballers thrive on game time and with us,he's probably the first name on Daniel Stendels teamsheet every week.! https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/02/...alex-mowatt-scores-unbelievable-effort-for-b/
