god help us if this prat ever gets in......he will be arming the security forces with plastic guns and declaring that if terrorists say sorry and that they didn't mean to do it, they will be ok to do a few hours community service in payback.

The soon Labour ditch this guy the better

He knows he's not going to get elected that why he comes out with all that guff, he became Labour leader to purge the Blairites from the Labour party and make it more left-wing, he's a menace for sure but only to his own party.

I'd much prefer our government not to invade/attack/ruin other countries for no apparent reason. Sovereign nations at that. Because I would imagine doing so, especially nations of different faiths, that might well be similar to shaking a hornets nest. As well as being ******* wrong on all levels.

People in France were the victims of attacks perpetrated by those unhappy with western interference in their country. Maybe it's time for a different approach the old one isn't working is it?

Saw that interview with him saying he doesn't belive in shooting to kill terrorists. Making himself unelectable imagine him telling this to Putin. I did agree with him about when he said terrorist attacks that happend in Turkey and lebonan and other country's didn't get the same media coverage as ones in Europe. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-34832023

Getting thoroughly sick of the media's continued lambasting of every aspect of him, really shows they are scared of him IMO. Doesn't help that gullible people (like 1 or 2 at the top of this thread) that read headlines and immediately store them in the "facts" section of their tiny brains buy into it.

I really love Corbyn and for the first time in years I've not felt completely disenfranchised by a major political party.

Really enjoyed Stewart Lee's analysis of media pressure on him the other day

    Entertaining read.

The only thing that makes Corbyn potentially unelectable is that he is intellectually in an absolutely different league to most people in the country. His solutions to certain problems involve an understanding of many layers and shades of grey which are beyond the understanding of many average folk. In my very humble opinion of course.

Difference is me and Reevy state facts, granted on a regular basis (sheer frustration at the debacle the club is in) but facts none the less.

Can the same be said of the Tory press?

Can't agree with that ISIS were just looking for an excuse their agenda is purely and simply to impose their way of life and beliefs on as much of the world as possible.
Regarding the Corbyn thing can't agree that its because he's too clever either, I would argue that he's totally naive IMHO he'd be totally lost and seen as totally week if he was leader (not that there's much chance)
    Course that's just MHO

Most of them were from Belgium, if they were unhappy with western influence they should have moved somewhere else.

I am Labour through and through.
    question
If the deputy leader is TOM Watson and the leader is JEREMY Corbyn.
Is it true to say we are being led by Tom and Jerry

The ideology that drove those barbaric murdering cowards to kill all those people in France is the same ideology that has seen thousands upon thousands of fellow Muslims murdered in Syria, Iraq, Nigeria and other places where Islamic extremism is rife. I suppose it's foreign policy that drives these animals to throw homosexuals off buildings then stone them to death if they survive the fall, to burn fellow Muslims alive, to bury them alive, to torture and execute women and children, to publicly behead, stone or crucify them.

There may be some evidence to link Western intervention with these groups having a vacuum in which they can be created but their poison and their evil callous desire to create a caliphate and murder anybody that doesn't share the same ideology comes from within.

I'd agree with pretty much all of that. At the same time our current approach has failed we need to look at different solutions.
