Thought a flexi ticket would have been available for people for this set of games. 15 quid for a night game on TV is still 15 quid more than people who watch it in their house pay, so it won't appease many.

So we make a fortune off 6,000 Geordies.

Correct. But not quite as good as Huddersfield's at 8 quid a match. I wish I worked mon-fri and could see the mighty reds at a discount every game: but sadly I, like so many others cannot. Darn working 24/7 I am letting my club down...!

And the Part time cherry picking "home" fans who only want to go because its Newcastle

it would be good to link this to one of the other games though - so Buy Newcastle and Fulham or Bristol together for a total of £46 or maybe buy all 3 for a total of £66

£30 to watch the two highest scorers in the league go head to head under the floodlights...

    I'll be there!

Obviously be a 0-0 with such a build up!

Same same my friend, it's a bit tight the only deal is on a tv match, still 6 thousand Geordies at £30 a pop = £180,000 in the pot!

Who needs appeasing exactly? We're flying, won every home game, top scorers in the country and just announced ticket prices that are no higher than last year except the Newcastle game. And made a game just £15. As well as a flexi ticket on the way as requested. The Club are doing and trying all the things folk have asked for in the past.

In all fairness, what good is a flexi ticket 10 home games into the season? (As the prices for 5 more matches have been released with no word of the flexi ticket. If one does go on sale before they start selling the Oct/Nov matches then fair enough but it seems strange to have not mentioned it if they are planning on doing so and 5 matches will still have passed by).

    Aston Villa as well

For the second season running a game has been moved out of my reach to Friday night and then been reduced to £15.

The flexi ticket isn't much good to me while ever it's just in Linton's head.

Everything was outlined at the fan engagement forum last week and relayed to the various supporters groups in attendance, after their input and consultation. I'm assuming there was a thread on here about it. Same day that the issue over bottle-tops was solved, same day the retro shirts were announced, same day the club notified supporters of 30 to 50 broken seats in the Ponty End. The car park issues were also discussed. The reasons for the lack of shirts. And the catering problems regarding slow service etc.

This is a thread titled 'October and November' tickets categories. Hence the 'just announced'. Villa was announced weeks and weeks ago.

Sky TV moved it. The Club have then set prices at £15. Unfortunately (I've been in your boat for years) football clubs don't cater for each and every individual and their personal lives or employment status.

    See above reply to JamDrop.

How is any of that relevant to what I just said? But anyway, here goes...

No there's hasn't been any proper feedback at all about the meeting, there's been a couple of separate threads with a line or two each such as 'Big News From the Fan Engagement Forum - Linton has sorted the bottletop problem ;)' Unless I missed it of course. I don't care about retro shirts when they can't even stock this season's shirts and what has that to do with flexi tickets?. What's the broken seats mentioned in a private facebook group got to do with flexi tickets? The car park has been discussed for years and nothing has changed and this has nothing to do with flexi tickets. The reason for the lack of shirts is rubbish and doesn't solve us not having any or the lack of a flexi ticket. Finally. the catering has been mentioned for years, is probably not going to change and guess what... has nothing to do with flexi tickets possibly being introduced 10 games into the season. That's not a flexi ticket, it's a half season ticket.

I'm actually pretty surprised that the Newcastle match isn't a Category A* game. They must be saving that, presumably for Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds?
